2.4 Hyundai Sante Fe Cranks No Start – P0335 Code

Hyundai Sante Fe 2.4 – Makeshift Camshaft Holding Tool

I recently worked on a 2004 Hyundai Sante Fe, 2.4 Liter four cylinder DOHC (Double Over Head Cam) with 88,000 miles, towed in to our shop with a cranks but no start condition. The engine cranked over normally and sounded like it had good compression, indicating the timing belt was good. Auto Mechanics Are the Backbone of Repair Shops

 Toon compliments of georgetrosley.com

Auto mechanics are the backbone of auto repair shops. With the advance in technology it’s not just kids that are unable or don’t want to go to college that are entering the auto repair field anymore. The days of the grease monkey are over. Today’s auto technician has to have qualities of an electrician, a plumber, a student, an air conditioning tech, salesman and a mechanical engineer. He must also possess common sense, be able to follow directions and have the capacity to understand complex systems in order to diagnose problems. Tech school or repair shop, learning never ends, be it in the classroom or OJT (on the job training). Without the total package, a huge selection of automotive tools will do little good.
