Auto Mechanics Are the Backbone of Repair Shops

 Toon compliments of georgetrosley.com

Auto mechanics are the backbone of auto repair shops. With the advance in technology it’s not just kids that are unable or don’t want to go to college that are entering the auto repair field anymore. The days of the grease monkey are over. Today’s auto technician has to have qualities of an electrician, a plumber, a student, an air conditioning tech, salesman and a mechanical engineer. He must also possess common sense, be able to follow directions and have the capacity to understand complex systems in order to diagnose problems. Tech school or repair shop, learning never ends, be it in the classroom or OJT (on the job training). Without the total package, a huge selection of automotive tools will do little good.
